secure apt now working

So finally, yesterday, I found the problem, why apt-get would still complain about not being able to verify the package signature and fixed it. It was simply, that I had put both Release and Release.gpg in the wrong place. These files should reside in /dists/stable and not in the top-level directory. (And that fact was actually described here.) Now things seem to be working correctly.

licensecheck with machine-readable (DEP5) output formatting

Some time ago I finally looked into patching the licensecheck script to add DEP5-like output formatting capabilities. You can grab the result here. The patch is submitted to the corresponding bug in the Debian BTS - which is open and unfixed since long. Please try and report/fix any issues.

old debian/binary/Packages.gz should link to new files

I finally got around (already several days/weeks? ago), to link my "old" repository to the new files. So even the ones of you who are still using the old sources.list entry, should now be getting the new versions. Hopefully. ;-) Please complain, if this does not work!

Many thanks in advance!

backport-repository updated

At some point during the last days, I finally got around to update my repository with backports of both gwyddion and bibus to Debian stable (lenny). For me it worked once, when I tried it - please complain, if it doesn't! Winken

There are still many people using the old repository - I will see, if I can somehow symlink to the new one... But please anyway - try to switch to the new one. It's better, as I can provide both i386 and amd64 packages from there.

Debian Maintainer

Today, I got the Debian Maintainer status!  Now I am allowed/trusted to upload new versions of my Debian packages directly to the Debian unstable repository. Isn't that great?!! ;-)
